With a deep understanding of floral preservation, we’re here to guide you through the journey your blooms will take. Curious what to expect? This is your insight into the process.
The flowers you choose are a reflection of your style and sentiment, follow your instincts, and let their beauty speak for itself.
Designing With Variety
A mix of sizes, colours, and textures brings depth and life to any arrangement.
Single-flower or single-colour pieces are beautiful in their own right, and exploring different combinations with your floral designer helps you arrive at a design you will be completely in love with.
Our designers are here to guide you through the process so the most memorable arrangement that truly reflects your heart can emerge.
Flowers That Stand the Test of Time
Most blooms can be preserved, yet some maintain their colour and form more gracefully than others through the process.
Below is a selection of our favourite flowers to guide you as you plan your arrangements. Considering how well each flower preserves will help ensure your final piece reflects your vision perfectly.
Preserving the Beauty of White Bouquets
When choosing the colours for your fresh bouquet, consider how those blooms will appear once preserved.
White flowers can naturally shift in tone, drying into shades of ivory, cream, soft yellows, or gentle sepia. Selecting your fresh whites with your desired preserved outcome in mind ensures your piece reflects your vision beautifully.
For an all-white fresh bouquet and matching preserved piece, we recommend blooms from our “preserves as white” list. If you prefer a fresh white look but want your preserved arrangement to remain naturally expressive, you can choose more freely.
We celebrate the journey these blooms take and embrace their evolving beauty across their full spectrum of colour and character.
Design Tips
Adding greenery to an all-white bouquet can enhance visual interest and depth, though it isn’t always necessary. You might also incorporate greenery from other floral arrangements at your wedding to complement your preserved piece.
For an all-white layout, we recommend the Mosaic or Modern designs. If you prefer a Classical layout, including some greenery can provide contrast and subtle variation within the grouping of white florals.
When it comes to framing, natural wood, black, kiaat, or oak frames complement white bouquets beautifully. White frames, while elegant, can sometimes feel stark against preserved blooms, so we suggest choosing carefully to suit your piece.
